From this Day On

The sun was setting behind the mountains. A silence had settled over Asgard. My hand slipped into Jane's-- my wife's. It had been a beautiful day, and Jane was looking more beautiful than ever before-- her gown floating around her as though the clouds themselves had descended and wrapped her in their plumes.

I let my lips brush her forehead, and then I whispered, "From this day forward... until the end of time... I will love you no less than I do today."
